Missing White House Emails Match Plame Time Frames
At 8 PM on September 29, 2003, former White House counsel Alberto Gonzales received a phone call from the Department of Justice (DOJ). Gonzales received formal notification that evening that the DOJ had launched a criminal investigation into the leak of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson.
CIA Tapes Destroyed as Pressure Mounted
The CIA destroyed videotapes showing its agents subjecting high-level al-Qaeda detainees to waterboarding after the agency’s inspector general issued a classified report in the spring of 2004 that concluded the interrogation methods used on the prisoners “appeared to constitute cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment, as defined by the International Convention Against Torture.”

The Case Against Karl Rove
Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald met with the second grand jury investigating the leak of covert CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson for several hours Friday. Unless Rove’s attorney intervenes at the 11th hour yet again, Fitzgerald is expected to ask the grand jury to indict Rove – at the very least – for making false statements to the FBI and Justice Department investigators in October 2003, lawyers close to the case say.
