Open auditions (for young people aged 14 – 24 years of age) will be held on Monday 19th January at midday in The Old Library (Arts Promotion Trust) on Rust Avenue.

This year, under the direction of Jarrod Martin & Laurel Devenie, young actors are being sourced to perform in two short plays, one contemporary & the other a classical piece.

Laurel has an impressive background in Theatre but to add yet another string to her bow, she has recently gained a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Toi Whakaari (NZ Drama School) & was nominated for the 2007 Chapman Trip award for best newcomer for the theatre production of ‘The Graduate’. Worked in both Auckland & Wellington for last few years
